Text ticker with 16*8 LEDs and an ATtiny- or an ATmega-Controller

This here applies 4094 shift registers to increase the number of pins of a small controller to 128 and to drive low current LEDs with it, even without any multiplexing. So we'll extend the eight pins of an ATtiny13 or the 14 pins of an ATtiny24 towards a monster LED driver for 128 LEDs.

By applying a CMOS shift register 4094 we use the advantage to drive the low current LEDs without any current-limiting resistors, so we skip the 128 resistor orgy.

For larger LEDs with 20 or more mA operating current a booster version is also described.

Experimental and not testet!
